These Terms of Use set out the rights of the Education Standards Board (ESB) when engaging with the public through social media.

These terms apply to the ESB’s social media channels.

Management of social media channels

The ESB uses social media channels to distribute information to the community. This includes:

The ESB social media channels are managed and operated by the Communications Team.

Currently the ESB manages:

  • LinkedIn – Education Standards Board
  • YouTube – Education Standards Board South Australia

Responding to enquiries and moderation

ESB social media accounts are monitored during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) excluding public holidays. Accounts may also be intermittently monitored outside of business hours subject to staff availability and business needs (i.e. emergency management).

Comments may be disabled on posts during out of hours or when resources are not available.

We’ll respond to enquiries and direct messages sent to our social media accounts in the same way we respond to emails or general enquiries. Social media responses may be relatively formal, with links to specific or expanded information provided.
