Complaints or grievances about a registered school must be made to the school and resolved in accordance with the school’s complaints-handling procedures.
The Education Standards Board (ESB) must refer complaints about schools back to the registered school.
You can find information on complaints about schools in the Education and Early Childhood Services (Registration and Standards) Act 2011 (SA), Sections 30 and 60.
If you are unsure whether the ESB has the legislative capacity to respond to your complaint, or would like further information, please contact us by email: esb.schools [at] sa.gov.au.
