Tuition fees for CRICOS providers
Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) providers are reminded to review and update tuition and non-tuition fees.
The Commonwealth Government has issued a reminder to all CRICOS providers of their obligation to ensure all course information is accurate, current and clearly communicated to prospective and current overseas students, in line with the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000 and section 8 of the ESOS Regulations 2019.
Providers must ensure CRICOS records reflect up‑to‑date fee information, including non‑tuition costs such as course materials, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and administrative charges. Where fees change, providers should promptly update details in the Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS) and maintain consistency across CRICOS, marketing materials and student agreements to maintain compliance.
