Teachers Registration Board - Distinguished Teacher Service Award nominations open

Do you know a teacher with 20 or more years of experience who has played a vital role in shaping the futures of children and young people through their dedication, care and impact on learning outcomes? 

The Teachers Registration Board (TRB) is seeking nominations for the Distinguished Teacher Service Awards. The award celebrates and acknowledges the work of a teacher with 20 or more years of service to the teaching profession. In 2026, the awards will be presented across three categories; early childhood, primary and secondary. 

Teachers can self-nominate, be nominated by a community member or by another registered teacher who is currently working with them or has worked alongside them within the last 5 years.
