Evaluation of CCTV Assessment in ECEC settings
KPMG has been appointed by the Australian Government Department of Education to conduct an evaluation of the nation-wide Assessment of CCTV in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) settings. As part of the evaluation, services, providers, educators, parents and carers are invited to share their views through a short survey.
The survey aims to gather perspectives on:
- the appropriateness of CCTV as a tool to support child safety in ECEC services
- the effectiveness of CCTV in ECEC services
- the enablers and barriers to utilise CCTV in ECEC services.
Your responses will contribute to a broader understanding of sector perspectives and will help inform advice provided to Education Ministers about the potential role of CCTV in ECEC services.
The surveys will close at 6:00pm on 18 June 2026. Participation is voluntary and responses are anonymous.
