Play Active program

The Play Active program developed by the Kids Research Institute Australia, advocates for children within Early Childhood Education and Care services to have increased energetic play. The program aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards - Quality Area 2. 

Play Active provides useful, evidence based professional development, resources, and support that helps services strengthen practice against National Quality Standard 2.1: ‘Each child’s health and physical activity is supported and promoted’. Educators can also access free professional development through the website.
