04 November 2026

Join us for the first Quality and Compliance webinar

The Education Standards Board is launching a new quarterly webinar series to share insights, trends and learnings from our regulatory work across the early childhood education and care sector.

The webinars will bring together providers, service leaders, educators, sector stakeholders and regulatory staff to explore current quality and compliance issues, emerging trends and areas of regulatory focus.

Each webinar will provide updates on:

  • assessment and rating trends and outcomes
  • common strengths and opportunities for improvement identified across services
  • assessment and rating processes and regulatory practice
  • compliance trends and emerging issues
  • insights from unannounced visits, incident notifications and complaints
  • regulatory expectations and examples of effective practice
  • sector updates, resources and key areas of focus.

The webinar series is designed to promote transparency, support continuous improvement, and provide a shared understanding of quality and compliance expectations across the sector. To help ensure the content is relevant and responsive to sector needs, participants will be invited to submit questions before each webinar. Common themes and recurring questions will be addressed during the session, alongside planned updates and presentations.

Whether you work directly in a service, support the sector, or deliver regulatory functions, these webinars will provide practical insights and opportunities to learn from current trends and regulatory experiences.
