New campaign helping families build confidence in choosing quality education and care
Australian families will be supported to make confident decisions about early childhood education and care through a new government campaign.
Rolling out nationally, the campaign is designed to strengthen trust in the early childhood education and care sector and highlight the safeguards in place to support children's safety, learning and wellbeing.
It encourages use of the StartingBlocks website to find the information they need to make informed decisions about their children's care.
The campaign, led by ACECQA, aims to:
- increase public trust and confidence in the early childhood education and care sector
- increase understanding of the national systems and safeguards that support quality education and care
- improve awareness and use of StartingBlocks.gov.au as the trusted national guide for families
- highlight the sector's focus on child safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement
- support informed parental choice when selecting an early education and care service.
Delivered through a mix of digital, social, video and community channels, the campaign aims to reach families at key decision-making moments throughout their early education journey.
By helping families better understand the systems that underpin quality early learning and outside school hours care, the government is reinforcing its commitment to transparency, child safety and informed parental choice in early childhood education and care.
