National update on Recognition of Prior Learning

The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) is the national regulator for Vocational Education and Training (VET). 

ASQA recently identified some training providers had issued Early Childhood Education and Care qualifications through a Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) pathway, without ensuring students had the required skills and knowledge. 

Providers who have identified gaps in skills or knowledge that are believed to be as a result of incorrectly issued RPL are encouraged to visit the ASQA website for more information.
