ESB attends Flying Start Early Childhood Awards
Representatives from the ESB were pleased to attend the 2026 Flying Start Early Childhood Awards, with Benn Gramola, Chief Executive, joined by Sean Heffernan, Executive Director Regulation and Quality and Elaine Hewitt, A/Manager, Quality Assessment.
Hosted by the Office for Early Childhood Development (OECD), the Flying Start Early Childhood Awards celebrate excellence across South Australia's early childhood education and care sector, recognising the educators, teachers, leaders, professionals and services who make a significant contribution to children's learning, development and wellbeing.
The awards showcased the dedication, innovation and leadership that exists across the sector. We congratulate all finalists and winners on their achievements and thank them for their ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality education and care for children and families across South Australia.
The event also provided an opportunity to connect with colleagues and sector leaders, including OECD Chief Executive, Kim Little and Executive Director, Government Relations, Workforce and Quality, Bec Curtain, as well as the Minister for Education, Training and Skills, the Hon Lucy Hood MP.
The ESB values its strong partnership with the OECD. Through continued collaboration, we support a shared commitment to quality, safety and positive outcomes for South Australian children and families.
