20 March 2026
Approved providers and services are reminded to update their quality rating on digital and print marketing material to ensure it accurately reflects their current rating.
Section 72(1) of the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 states approved providers of an education and care service must not falsely represent the overall rating or a rating in respect of a quality area stated in the National Quality Standards given to the service under the Law.
The maximum penalty for falsely representing a rating is $6,600.
