Applications for New Services

Once an application is received, one of our team members does an initial assessment to ensure the completeness of your application, and if needed, will contact you to gather any additional information that may be required.

Timeframes for assessment of applications do not commence until the application is complete and validated with the prescribed information. Whilst there are not mandatory fields within the form, Regulation 25 outlines the information required for a new service application. Three common issues that delay validation of a new service application, are:

• The submission of plans that are not prepared by a building practitioner
• The submission of floor plans that do not clearly outline unencumbered indoor and outdoor spaces suitable for children and
• Submission of an application without a statement that the applicant has the right to occupy and use the premises and any document evidencing this

We encourage applicants to provide as much detail as possible in all applications and complete a thorough review of the form before submitting.
